I’m curious as to what reliable police source was used to I’D’ D.M. did he have a prior conviction? OR was he on file by carding ? OR security reasons ? The police knew rather quickly that D.M. had a Ambition tattoo ?! Thanks Lynn P.S. Looking forward to reading your book !!

Good question. Falconer testified at the Bosma trial that
itthe iPad found at Smich’s house was first synced to one of Millard’s computers in July 2012. (Update: I just checked my notes and he said the “start date” was July 5, 2012, last sync January 2013. Many of the photos Smich deleted from the iPad were found on Millard’s computer.)Clarification: Falconer was speaking about the iPad found at Smich’s house. He did not in any way tie this iPad to Laura Babcock or Shawn Lerner, whose names were never mentioned at trial. (June 27)
