Access to Bureau of Labor Statistics lock-ups in Washington, D.C.

After I contacted the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Monday April 26th, their representative replied promptly to my query about which news organizations access their lock-ups. The Bureau will not provide a written list but they informed me over the phone that the following news organizations attend the lock-ups:

  1. Bloomberg
  2. Market News
  3. Kyoto News
  4. Reuters
  5. Dow Jones
  6. Associated Press
  7. Thomson Financial
  8. Bond Buyer
  9. Nikkei News
  10. Jiji Press Agency
  11. Need to Know News
  12. Potomac Radio
  13. MarketWatch News
  14. CNN
  15. CNBC
  16. Fox Business
  17. Bloomberg TV

In order to report from the lock-ups, news organizations need to be accredited by a Senate or House news gallery and there has to be space available in the lock-ups, which there is not currently.
